Overtime: Rossville 28, Silver Lake 27.
It's the third time in the last four seasons that the War on 24 needed overtime to decide a winner. It was the 112th meeting all-time and it started 30 minutes late due to a scoreboard outage.
Game was tied 21-21 going into overtime. Silver Lake scored first to make it 27-21 on a 10-yard pass from Kipton Kruger to Dayne Johnson.
Rossville tied the game at 27-27 on a five-yard run by Canann Mitchell. The extra point was good to give Rossville the win in dramatic fashion.
Silver Lake outgained Rossville 460-195 but had three turnovers and gave up a punt return touchdown.
Dayne Johnson of Silver Lake hauled in 14 receptions for 215 yards and 1 score.
The win by Rossville snaps their 3 game losing streak to the Eagles.
