The Eagles won their second straight game after starting the season 0-2. The win against the Bears was Silver Lake's 23rd straight win in the series. 

Bears quarterback Lane Smith completed 10-of-24 passes for 181 yards and two interceptions. The Eagles defense held the Bears to just 68 rushing yards on 2.8 yards per carry.
