Holton survived a scare as Hiawatha couldn't hold on for the lead and came up short to regain the lead in the contest. 27-yard field goal by Conner Bigham in the first half had Hiawatha up 3-0 at the break then a TD run by Parker Hasenkamp gave the Red Hawks a 10-0 lead but Holton mounted a comeback. The Wildcats scored the final two scores of the game for the 12-10 win. Jonah Lutz and Ethan Holaday tallied the Wildcat TD runs, while Brendan Hampton posted 115 yards on 23 carries.
The win kept Holton streak of Big Seven league wins alive, moving it to 36-straight.
