Washington County Tigers eeked out a win over the Valley Heights Mustangs in a TVL showdown. Tigers got contributions from a wide array of characters in the matchup. Quarterback, Konner Penning finished the game 19-28 for 198 yards and a Td pass to Cole Thompson who caught nine passes for 98 yards, total. Andrew Tiemeyer and Matt Bekemeyer each posted a rushing TD, while Hunter Keir had a fumble recovery for a TD.
The Mustangs continued to run the ball well in the loss as Derek Trimble carried the ball 10 times for 113 yards, while Cole Maddox amassed 87 yards on 15 carries and scored a TD. Gage and Logan Woodyard each added rushing TDs, also for Valley Heights
