The Panthers continued to roll this season as Sam Steinlage lead the team on both sides of the ball. Offensively Steinlage had six carries for 137 yards and 2 TDs, while catching one pass for a TD, too. Defensively he picked off a Troy pass and ran it back 38 yards for a defensive TD and registered 8 tackles. Darrian Turner and Trevor Mars each added a rushing TD, Devin Rempe caught a TD pass as JT Rosine tossed two TD passes in the contest.
For Troy in the loss they saw Tristan Speer have a pair of TD passes in the win to Ross and Winkel.
