Red Hawks for the second straight year heard an opening round playoff victory this time topping Riley County. The Red Hawk defense held Riley County to 162 total yards of offense, while the Hiawatha offense posted 300 yards of offense.

Brendan Steele continued to lead the Red Hawk offense posting 104 yards on 28 carries and TD, while Parker Hasenkamp, Ryker Smith and Quentin Overdick each had rushing TDs.
