Jackson Heights Cobras struck with scoring to open the season using a 20-7 2nd quarter to take control of the game against Wetmore. The Cobras were lead by Preston Richeter who dropped 20 points, going 10-13 from the free throw line, while Cameron Thomas and Cole Olberding each added 17 and 11 points, respectively.

Wetmore was lead by Kyle Shumaker who scored 21 points, hitting four 3pters, while Jeremy Hoelscher added 14 points.
