A huge third quarter of action propeled the Axtell Eagles to earn early season TVL win over a tough Linn team. Linn lead 22-18 at the half, but a 22-9 3rd quarter pushed Axtell to the lead and ultimately the win. Kiersten Talbot lead the Eagles with 20 points, while Courtney Heinen added 13 points and Taylor Feldkamp chipped in 11 points.

Linn in the loss was lead by Nicole Ohlde who registered 19 points.
