Wetmore Cardinals trailed after the first initial buckets of the game but went on a run to end the 1st quarter and start of the 2nd frame to take the lead which they would not give up, leading 17-11 at the half. Brianna Boden lead the Cardinals with 15 points all in the second half, while Corinne Haverkamp and Keri Pfrang added 10 points each.

Frankfort in the loss was lead by Ashley Joseph who scored 9 points and Marie Wessel added 8 points.
