A early 19-9 1st quarter gave Valley Heights the lead in the battle of the Mustangs but Doniphan West responded with a 14-8 2nd quarter to make the game interesting. Valley Heights was lead by Derek Trimble in the win as he scored 21 points, while Charles Musil added 14 points, Bennett Bargdill added 12 points and Elijah Smith chipped in 11 points.

Doniphan West was lead by Jeff Watts who had a game high 23 points, while Luke Rush and Austin Taylor each added 12 points.
