TVL Tournament 5th Place Game
Axtell after winning the TVL tournament last year wrapped up the tourney this season with a 5th place showing by topping Troy using a 14-5 3rd quarter to seperate themselves from the Trojans in the game. Derek Porting led Axtell on the night with 14 points, while Payton Heinen scored 12 points, Christian Buessing and Tyler Jones each chipped in 11 and 10 points. Troy in the loss was led by Tristan Speer who scored 11 points and Jake Ross tallied 10 points, as Troy took sixth in their first TVL tourney.
