Valley Heights clung to a 34-32 lead at the half over Troy but used an 11-6 3rd quarter to stretch out the lead and ultimately grab the road win. Mustangs finished the night with four players in double figures as Charles Musil led the way with 14 points. Derek Trimble posted 13 points for Valley Heights, Gage Woodyard and Bennett Bargdill each added 10 points.

Troy in the loss was led by William Boeh who scored 15 points and Nathan Gaarder who tallied 11 points.
