Axtell Eagles responded from a pair of losses in their last couple games to top Doniphan West, using a quick 12-4 start to the game in the 1st quarter. Eagles pushed that lead to 32-15 at the half, Doniphan West did put up a 32-19 4th quarter against the Axtell reserves. Axtell was led by Christian Buessing who scored 15 points, while Tyler Jones added 14 points. Derek Porting and Payton Heinen each added 10 points on the night for the Eagles. Doniphan West was led by Jeff Watts, Cooper Leach and Austin Taylor who all three posted 14 points.
