Sarah Coversup had 17 points for Horton who never trailed in getting their seventh straight victory and clinching a second place finish in the Northeast Kansas League. Chargers got off to a 13-8 start to the game in the 1st quarter, but that lead was cut to 19-16 at the half. Horton answered back with an 11-2 3rd quarter to pad their lead. Mariah Hisle added 9 points on the night for Horton.
Valley Falls was led by Natalie Pickerell who scored 8 points, while Ali Brown and Macee Jepson each scored 6 points.
