1A-DI State Tournament Championship

Valley Heights playing for their first ever State title in school history ran into a Hoxie team that got off to a fast start against the Mustangs and never gave up that lead, after leading 26-11 after the 1st quarter for Hoxie. Valley Heights wrapped up the season with just two losses and a runner-up showing at State and were led by Brandi Jo Roepke in the loss with 16 points. Sidney Blackburn added 13 points and Lesley Frohberg scored 12 points.
