Axtell came flying out of the gates and cruised to the 50-0 win at the half over Linn to finish District play unbeaten. Colton Buessing was 9-10 for 165 yards with a TD and a TD run, while Tyler Jones had 3 TD runs. Adam Kuckelman caught a TD pass, while Kaleb Buessing tossed a TD to Jacob Meybrunn and Shane Talbot had a pick 6. Axtell's defense held the shorthanded Linn Bulldogs to just 48 yards of total offense.
