Royal Valley used a 21-9 2nd quarter to have a solid lead at the half over Hiawatha, but the Red Hawks responded with a 32-20 second half to make it tight late, but the Panthers held on for the three-point win. Kate Hanson led the charge for Royal Valley with 14 points, while Levonna Biggoose scored 12 points and Jaycee Worrell added 11 points. Hiawatha in the loss was led by Emily Gartner who tallied 18 points, while Kendra Overdick and Courtney Brockhoff each posted 7 points.
