Onaga got off to a fast start in the game looking for their first win of the season, as the Buffaloes led 19-12 after the 1st quarter. But Onaga went cold from the floor in the 2nd quarter and Hanover took over the lead, but Onaga put together a few buckets late before halftime and trailed just 28-27 at the half. Hanover started to separate themselves in the game in the 3rd quarter, using an 18-4 period, going on to win.
Hanover was led by Paige Doebele who scored 12 points, while Shelby Bruna posted 11 points and Ashton Jueneman added 10 points. Onaga in the loss had 11 points from Taylor Kufahl and Rebekah Glessner and 9 points from Amber Kopp.
