Troy used a 23-14 2nd quarter to lead 40-32 at the half after trailing after the 1st quarter. Axtell kept the game close throughout the matchup but Troy fended off the Eagles down the stretch for the win. Collin Jasper led Troy with 18 points, while Nathan Gaarder added 15 points and Jake Ross and Cuttar Huss each posted 9 points. Axtell was led by Adam Kuckelman who scored 14 points, while Shane Talbot added 11 points and Tyler Jones added 10 points.
