Class 1A-DII State Tournament at Dodge City (1st Round) 

St. John's-Tipton led just 22-18 at halftime against Axtell, but pushed that lead out in the second half to earn the win over the Eagles. Andrew Feldkamp led Axtell in the loss posteing 12 points, while Shane Talbot scored 10 points and Adam Kuckelman posted 8 points and 11 rebounds, but Axtell shot only 29.5% from the floor in the contest.
