Hanover started the game off with a 65-yard touchdown pass and lead 16-8 early (12-0 2nd quarter) against Axtell on their way to the win. Will Bruna finished 23-31 for 328 yards with 5 TDs and ran for two more, while Adam Zarybnicky caught 6 passes for 99 yards and 2 TDs and Trey Loshe caught 4 passes for 99 yards and a TD. Matthew White and Devin Jueneman each caught a TD pass too for Hanover.
Axtell had three turnovers in the contest, while Colton Buessing was 19-36 for 145 yards a TD and INT and ran for TD. Kaleb Buessing added a TD run and Caleb Heiman caught a TD pass for Axtell.
