The game was tied at 8-8 at halftime and Clifton-Clyde held a 14-8 lead after three quarters but Frankfort used a 28-14 fourth quarter to secure the win. Jase Suther and Adam Kenworthy lead the way for the Wildcats as Suther had 14 carries for 137 yards and 3 TDs, while Kenworthy carried the ball 18 times for 132 yards and a TD. Suther added a 69-yard kickoff return touchdown for Frankfort in the win, while registering 16 tackles and 2 INTs.
Clifton-Clyde in the loss had Caleb Charbonneau toss a pair of TD passes to Matt Barnes and rush for 2 TDs, also but did also have 3 INTs and the Eagles had four turnovers overall.
