Drives 15-plays and 17-plays on the first two offensive series for Nemaha Central resulted in points and helped push them to the win over Sabetha. The Thunder led 24-0 at halftime and had Ryan Hasenkamp go 6-11 for 101 yards with a TD and run for 2 TDs, while Tristan Allen hauled in 4 passes for 64 yards with a TD and Kyle Rethman ran for 89 yards on 17 carries with a TD.
Sabetha in the loss got a TD run by Brock Frey who finished with 78 yards on 20 carries, while Trae Synder added 63 yards on 15 carries. The Bluejays had 2 fumbles and a pair of drives stall out inside the 30-yard line.
