Nemaha Central remained unbeaten on the season as they cruised past Centralia to open District play; the Thunder lead 30-0 at halftime in the contest. The Thunder were led by Ryan Hasenkamp who was 9-11 for 206 yards 3 TDs and ran for 142 yards on 7 carries with 2 TDs. Tristan Allen hauled in 4 passes for 114 yards and 2 TDs, while Dalton Hiltbrand caught 2 passes for 65 yards and a TD. Kyle Rethman added 67 yards on 9 carries with a TD.
Centralia in the loss got 159 yards on 17 carries from Braden Deters who had a 97-yard TD run, while John Johnson added 52 yards on 20 carries with a TD. Deters also was 3-6 for 93 yards all in the first half.
