Class 1A-DI Onaga Sub-State Semifinals (at Onaga)
Onaga had a buzzer-beating shot by Ben Kufahl to end the first quarter and they lead 11-8 and held a lead until 5:18 left in the game, as the Buffaloes led 22-17 at the half after Kufahl drained a three-pointer at the buzzer before the half. The lead grew to 34-25 after three quarters and Onaga again ended a quarter with a buzzer beater, but Centralia took the fourth quarter in a big way outscoring Onaga 23-6 in the final frame to earn the win. Late free throws by Braden Deters iced the game as he finished with 16 points to lead Centralia, while Dustin Talley scored 11 points. Onaga was led by Kufahl who scored 12 points and Tanner Marten notched 9 points.
