Blast From The Past
Former Horton AD in Missouri High School Football State Title Game
Mark Ross

This week's "Blast from the Past" is Mark Ross who was the former Athletics Director at Horton High School from 2016-2018 as well as being a Charger alum.

In 2018, Ross left Horton to become the Athletics Director and Head Football Coach at Marceline High School in Missouri.

Ross took over a Tigers program that had won 44 of 51 games in the four seasons prior.

This season Ross has his team still playing in the Missouri State High School playoffs as they’re coming off a 31-30 win over Hayti in the Semi-Final round.

At 12-1, his team advances to the State Championship game this weekend to take on 14-1 East Buchanan.

Ross also spent time as a Graduate Assistant on Charlie Weis’ staff at Kansas before his time as the Charger’s Offensive Coordinator.

Our “Blast from the Past” is presented by Rainbow Communications.
