The NAIA Women’s Golf Championship is taking place this week at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course in Lincoln.  Peru State’s Jordan Schaardt is part of the field, and is tied for 97th place after two rounds.  She shot an 87 Wednesday after an 82 on Tuesday.  Schaardt was scheduled to tee off at 7:30 this (Thursday) morning. 

Jessica Schiele of Oklahoma City University posted a four-under par 68, one off the course record, and is the individual leader halfway through the tournament.

Oklahoma City University is tied for first in the team standings with Cal State San Marcos, with a two-round score of 615.  Bellevue is in 12th place and Doane College is 27th with a two-round score of 763.  The tournament continues through Friday.
