Southeast Nebraska All Stars Selected

  The Annual Southeast Nebraska All-Star Volleyball and Basketball Games will be played Friday June 14th and Saturday June 15th in the Truman Center at the Southeast Community College Campus at Beatrice.

The volleyball game will begin at 7:30 p-m on Friday with the basketball games on Saturday.  The girls contest will be at 6 p-m followed by the boys game at 8 p-m.

Over 80 high schools were invited to make nominations for the All-Star squads.  

Jennifer Koehler will be the Head Coach of the East volleyball team assisted by Cara DeBuhr of Lewiston.

Members of the East Squad will include Alexis Nee and Tierra Williams from Auburn High School.  Bethany Lampe from Falls City High.  Janey Malcolm from Sacred Heart.  Amber Wehrbein from Lewiston.  Morgan Lenners from Freeman.  Kendall Hallstrom and Paige Zastera from Syracuse.  Mackenzie Faris from Johnson County Central and Claire Rush from Johnson-Brock.

Making up the East girls basketball squad will be Jenna Nieveen from Sterling.  Sierra Friedly from Pawnee City.  Sydney LaVigne from Johnson-Brock.  Kim Osovski from Lourdes Central Catholic.  Claire Poppe from Falls City.  Danielle Pfister from Johnson County Central.  Kylie Trobee from Freeman and Erica Dorn from Southern.

John Cockerill from Sterling will be the Head Coach assisted by Anthony Harms from Waverly. 

The East Boys basketball squad Head Coach will be Auburn Coach Bryce Roth who will be assisted by Sacred Heart Coach Doug Goltz. 

A pair of Johnson County Central graduates will be on the team, Nate Kuhl and Justin Damme. Pawnee City will also have two representatives on the squad,  Graham Droge and Austin Smith.

They are joined by Sacred Heart grad Lane Barnhill.  Cord Huettner from Falls City High.  Tyler Collin from Auburn.  Tyler Farley from Syracuse.  Nick Behrends from Johnson-Brock.  Kevin Beethe from Humboldt-Table Rock – Steinauer and Michael Lucas from Sterling.
