The Centralia Panthers while they recently fell to B&B are 23-5 on the season and 10-1 in the TVL and remained number one in Class 1A-Division I rankings. Centralia is also fresh off another second place performance at a regular season tournament taking second at the Silver Lake Invite. Class 2A continues to houses a pair of area teams in the rankings as the Jefferson County North Chargers and Washington County Tigers remained ranked second and third this week, respectively. For the Chargers they are 24-5 on the season and continue to dominate the Northeast Kansas league as they are 12-0 in league action, beating Maur Hill-Mount Academy and Pleasant Ridge recently.

For the Washington County Tigers they are 17-4 on the season and 9-2 in the TVL with their losses coming at the hands of the #1 1A teams in B&B and Centralia in league play and other losses coming to Southeast of Saline, the second ranked 3A team and a tough Marysville team.

Class 4A-Division II continued to house a pair of teams also just like 2A as Big Seven league teams in Santa Fe Trail and Jeff West both remained ranked but fell one spot each in the rankings. For the Chargers of Santa Fe Trail they are 25-4 on the season and continued to dominate in the Big Seven league sweeping Hiawatha recently to remain unbeaten league at 14-0; Chargers moved down to number two in the rankings.

The Jeff West Tigers moved down to number nine this week from number eight, as they recently took a pair of league wins home over Royal Valley to improve to 20-11 on the season and 10-3 in Big Seven league action.
