(AP) - Northwestern and Nebraska both are coming off losses entering their game in Lincoln on Saturday.
The Cornhuskers (5-2, 2-1) lost at Minnesota last week, but remain in control of their destiny in the Big Ten's Legends Division. Northwestern has lost four straight and bowl eligibility hangs in the balance.
Wildcats coach Pat Fitzgerald says the season isn't lost after last week's overtime loss to Iowa. Northwestern (4-4, 0-4) can achieve bowl eligibility for a sixth straight year with two more wins.
The Huskers will start Tommy Armstrong Jr. at quarterback in place of the injured Taylor Martinez.
