The B&B Falcons volleyball team had success last year on the court and have translated it to the court again this season, as well. The Falcons soared their way to another regular season tournament crown this time going 5-0 in action at the Valley Falls Invitational. The Falcons are now 25-2 on the season and won the Nemaha Valley Invitational earlier this season, while finishing second in the Hiawatha Invite.

B&B didn't have to much problems working through their competition winning each match in straight sets on the day; matter of fact only two games of the 16 played on the day went to three sets (Doniphan West over Jackson Heights & Maranatha over Oskaloosa).

The other teams competing in the Valley Falls Invite were all from the Kanzaland area outside of one team in Maranatha with the others being Axtell, Oskaloosa, Doniphan West, McLouth and host Valley Falls. The Dragons of Valley Falls took second place overall finishing 4-1 with their only loss coming to B&B.

Battle for third place was between Axtell and Maranatha on the day and the Eagles came away with the straight set win that match to finish 3-2 and take third place, giving Maranatha fourth with a 2-3 record. Doniphan West also finished the tournament 3-2, beating Oskaloosa in the fifth place game, giving the Bears a 2-3 final record on the day and a sixth place finish. Rounding out the action Jackson Heights finished 1-4 on the day and seventh with McLouth going 0-5 in the action at the Valley Falls Invite.

The volleyball regular season is drawing to an end with a few matchups for Kanzaland area schools left before league tournaments and then sub-state and state tournaments.
