Final Ratings for Nebraska Boys Basketball Teams

 It was a top 5 rating for both the Falls City and Sacred Heart boys basketball teams for the season completed this past weekend.

The Irish finished third in the Class D2 State Tournament and finish the year ranked 3rd in the Lincoln Journal Star and 4th in the Omaha World Herald with a 25-5 mark.  

Falls City finished the year 24-3 and ranked 5th in both polls.

Wahoo which defeated Falls City in overtime in the opening round of the C1 State Tournament finishes ranked 2nd & 3rd; Lincoln Christian, the team Falls City defeated in the District Finals was ranked 6th.

In D2 Exeter-Milligan was ranked 3rd in the Omaha paper and 4th in the Lincoln paper.  Spalding / Spalding Academy, the team the Irish beat in the consolation final was ranked 5th, Parkview Christian is ranked 7th and 8th and Lewiston was ranked 9th in the final poll in the Journal-Star.

In D1 Nebraska City Lourdes Central finished 7th in both newspapers and in C-2 Freeman was ranked 6th by both papers.
