B&B Falcon, JCN Charger & Holton Wildcat Girls Named to KBCA All-Star Rosters

Three area senior girls from three teams that enjoyed great basketball seasons have been selected to play in the annual KBCA All-Star competition on Saturday June 28th at 5:00pm with site still to be announced.

B&B Falcon, Laura Sudbeck, JCN Charger, Jacee Kramer and Holton Wildcat, Kyrstie Miller will all play in the annual KBCA All-Star game.

Laura enjoyed a stellar senior season in the final year of B&B high school she helped guide the Lady Falcons to the Class 1A-Division II State title in basketball finishing 24-3 on the season and topping Golden Plains in the title game, 59-40. Sudbeck earned first team All-State honors from the KBCA after posting 11.7 ppg, 9.2 rpg, 2.3 apg and 2.1 spg this past year and shooting 45.1% from the floor and 41.5% from three-point land. The Falcon senior, also earned multiple All-State honors and first team All-Twin Valley League and plans on continuing her athletic career in volleyball, a sport she won three State titles with her B&B teammates, at Cloud County.

Jacee goes down as one of the best scorers in the State not only this year but in her career as she totaled over 2,000 career points, finishing her high school basketball career 17th in the State in career points.  She helped guide her team back to the Class 2A State tournament again this season and the Chargers wrapped up their season 25-1 with a runner-up finish in 2A and won the NEKL title during the year. Kramer on the season posted 23.5 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 3.3 spg and 3.6 apg on her way to first team All-State honors by the KBCA and multiple other publications on top of being named to the Top Five of any class by the Topeka Capital Journal. Kramer plans on continuing her basketball career at Emporia State next season as part of the Hornets team.

Joining her at Emporia State next year will be Holton Wildcat senior, Kyrstie Miller who will continue her basketball career as a Lady Hornet, too. Miller enjoyed a solid senior season with her Holton teammates helping the team to a 17-8 record and third place performance at State in Class 4A-DII. On the season Miller posted a double-double average with 15 ppg and 10 rpg, while adding 7.8 spg and 1.8 bpg earning second team All-State by the KBCA and other publications and first team All-Big Seven.

Three great players that enjoyed great basketball and athletic careers through high school thus far will display their talents once more before moving on to college this summer as part of the KBCA All-Star game on Saturday June 28th at 5:00pm , with location to be announced.
