Holton Wildcats boy’s golf season continues to be a strong one as they took on three fellow Big Seven League teams in quad in Sabetha on Monday and notched the team win.
Wildcats posted the best 4-man score of 162 to claim first place, while the host school in Sabetha was not far behind in second place with a score of 170, just eight strokes behind Holton. Perry Lecompton posted the third best team score on the day just four strokes behind Sabetha at 174, while Royal Valley's foursome took fourth with a team score of 213.
Holton on their way to first place as a team took home the top three rounds of the day as Ethan Holaday posted the best round of the day with a 38, two strokes better than his teammates Preston and Braden Sides who each posted a round of 40 to finish, second and third, respectively.
Perry Lecompton Kaw, Jacob Morris finished fourth place on the day shooting a 41, while Tyler Ulrich of Sabetha rounded out the top five finishers on the day posting a 42.
