Nemaha Valley Boys Golf Takes Fifth at Marysville Invite

Nemaha Valley Raiders made the trip over to Marysville on Tuesday to compete against seven different schools at the Marysville boy’s golf Invitational and came away taking fifth place of the six schools that field teams.

The Raiders put together a 4-Man team score of 350 to finish fifth in the team competition, but were in the competition compared the other scores finishing just seven strokes behind fourth, nine behind third and 10 behind second place. Abilene finished first with a 334, while Concordia took second (340), Clay Center third (341) and Wamego fourth place (343). Chapman was the other team to field a team and placed sixth with a 373, while the host Marysville did not field a 4-Man team.

Leading the way for Nemaha Valley was Zach Bradley as he took home an individual medal placing sixth on the day after posting an 82 on the day. Blake Mohney, Dylan Enneking and Caleb Meyer rounded out the Raiders 4-Man team score with rounds of 88, 89 and 91, respectively on the day. Justice McKernan and Cody Kramer both also competed on the day for Nemaha Valley, too registering rounds of 96 and 101, respectively.

Marysville's lone golfer on the day, Joe Ellenbecker shot an 83 on the day placing eighth individually on the day.
