ACCHS Wrestlers Compete at Junction City Invitational

The ACCHS Tigers hit the mats on Saturday at the Junction City Invitational with four grapplers competing in action. As a team, the Tigers claimed 10th.

Leading the performances on the day was Bratten Forbes (220lbs) who was the only Tiger to place in the top medal performances, taking home second place in his weight class after going 2-1. Forbes picked up a pair of pinfall wins in 1:03 and 28 seconds, but fell in the Championship bout by major decision 17-5.

Three other Tiger wrestlers competed on the day and ranked ACCHS grappler Hunter Ostertag (120lbs) was the only other Tiger wrestler to claim a win on the mats going 1-2 in action. Ostertag's lone win came via pinfall in 30 seconds, but finished the day with taking a pair of tough losses.

Both Dylan Brikinsha (152lbs) and Mike Regan (160lbs) competed at Junction City Invitational for the Tigers on the day.

ACCHS wrestlers will next be in action on the mats on February 12th at the Sabetha double dual.
