Falls City Track Teams Compete at Louisville

The Falls City Tiger Track team competed at the Louisville Invitational last week.  

Conestoga won the girls team title with 168 points, Falls City was fourth with 63 points in the 8-team field. 

For the boys Louisville won the team title with 115 ponts. Falls City was third with 77 points. 

Individually for the Lady Tigers Lainey Larsen won the 3200 meters and was third in the 1600; The Tiger girls were third in the 4 x 100 meter relay and the 4 x 800 relay.  Krystal Samqua was second in the pole vault and Brittany Webster was second in the discus.  

Top performances turned in by the Tiger boys included Lee Huettner winning the triple jump by nearly three feet and taking the title in the long jump by more than a foot. He as also third in the 100 meter dash; 

Ben Bauman was second in the shot put and third in the discus.  Tucker Merz was second in the discus.  

Falls City also claimed third in the 4 x 100 meter relay. Zach Jordening was second in the high jump and Justin Ernst was second in the pole vault.
