Top high school volleyball seniors converge on Lee Arena at Washburn University on Saturday to participate in the 30th annual Kansas Volleyball Association All-Star game and Centralia Panther, Amaris Jones represented the area.

Jones who was on the Blue team saw her squad fall to the Red team in five sets in the competition 25-13, 19-25, 25-19, 22-25, 16-14. Amaris registered two kills and two digs in the competition as she wrapped up her high school volleyball career and will attend Cloud County Community college next year after helping Centralia repeat as Class 1A-Division I State champs and post a 44-1 record this past year.

The Blue team in the loss was led by Kenna Hall of DeSoto with nine kills, while Noelle Dooley of Garden Plain had 13 assists and Ashley Sparks of Wellsville notched 14 digs.

For the Red team in the win they were led by Carlyle Nusbaum of St. Thomas Aquinas who posted 10 kills, while Kynnedy Myers of Rose Hill tallied 33 assists and Payton Summers of Seaman recorded 17 digs.
