(KLZA)-- The Nebraska Girls 10 & Under, Class C Fast Pitch State Tournament will be played at the Fiedler Ball Complex in Falls City this weekend.  

17 teams are scheduled to take part in the tournament that begins at 3 p-m Friday afternoon with a championship game scheduled for 3 p-m Sunday.

The Falls City Travelers will open play at 3 p-m Friday against the Hoos Insurance Agency Stingers at the F & M Field.  

Other teams playing hale from Ashland, Meridian, Nebraska City, York, Wayne, and Gretna.  Not all of the communities represented are included in the team names.  

Each game has a 75-minute time limit.  There is a maximum of 5 runs per half inning.  There are run rules in effect at the end of the innings three, four and five.
