2015 Santa Fe Trail Cross Country Invitational Results - girls results & boys results

The Jeff West Tigers stepped away from competition against fellow Northeast area teams and traveled to the Santa Fe Trail Invitational on Thursday to compete in cross country action. 

Leading the way for the Tigers on the day was the performance of Makenzie Tucker who behind a time of 23:20.44 earned the silver medal in the girl's race, competing against 34 other competitors. Destiny Wright and Sarah Sayles also competed for the lady Tigers placing 26th and 27th, respectively. 

The boys competed individually and as a team placing seventh out of eight teams in the competition. Hunter Carter posted the best Tigers boys performance finishing 27th, while Will Jernberg and Colin Ellis placed 33rd and 34th, respectively. Trey Markham, Liam Magathan and Isaac Dickey all also ran for the Tigers on the day posting finishes of 39th, 46th and 52nd place. 

The cross country season continues next Thursday, September 17th for the Jeff West Tigers as they will compete at the McLouth Invitational.
