(KLZA) -- The 2015 Nebraska State Cross Country Meet was held in Kearney today.

Local atheletes who participated were. In Class C Girls Lainey Larsen a Senior of Falls City places 41st with a time of 23:13.8. From Syracuse Emma Porter a Sophmore placed 53rd with a time of 23:01.4, 65 2 76 Kimberly Lowman a senior was 65th with a time of 23:43.2 and Kayla Arnold a sophmore was 66th with a time of 23:43.7 From Auburn Amanda Brown a sophmore was 45th with a time of 22:30.1 

In Class C Boys from Syracuse. Junior Keegan Pope was 8th with a time of 17:39.9, Lucas Wilkinson a sophmore came in 12th with a time of 17:50.7, Senior Peyton Harsin placed 28th with a time of 18:19.3 Junior Zane Weiler came in 34th with a time of18:24.4, Cody Pester a Junior was 56th with a time of 18:58.0 and Sophmore Max Hughes came in 86th with a time of 20:06.4.

Also from Class C Falls City Junior, Kyle Leafty was 16th with a time of 17:54.9.

In Class D Girls from Johnson County Central Sophmore Aleisha McDonald was 11th with a time of 21:05.2, Junior Angelica Wellman was 67th with a time of 22:53.8, Erin Hunzeker was 118th with a  time of 25:00.8, Freshman Jordan Rodriquez was 119th with a time of 25:05.4, Sarai Ares a Freshman was 138th with a  time of 26:53.0.

In Class D Boys Samuel Saldivar, a Junior from Johnson County Central, placed 11th with a time of 17:34.6 and Senior Alex Menninga of  Pawnee City was 38th with a time of 18:26.8
