2015 Class 2A State Cross Country results - click here

Jackson Heights and Valley Heights headlined the area performances on Saturday at the Class 2A State cross country meet in Wamego. 

Valley Heights Mustang junior, Adrian Pishny had the best area performance finishing ninth with a time of 17:38.84, while his teammate, Alex Hardin took 28th at State. 

Freshman, Faith Little of Jackson Heights had the best area girl’s performance picking up an 11th place performance after running to a time of 21:00.48, while Hannah Davault finished 49th in the girl’s race. 

McLouth Bulldog senior, Tristan Funk was the only other area boy’s runner outside of Pishny to finish in the Top 20 placing 18th after a time of 18:05.46. In the girls race, Ceara Funk finished 37th for the lady Bulldogs. 

The Jefferson County North Chargers had Carissa McAfee finish 26th in the girl’s 2A State competition, while Rose Wendling took 81st, Kayla Hutzell 88th, Sarah Wiseman 91st, Kendri Noll 95th and Maggie Sharp 100th place. 

Washington County Tiger, Eric Miller picked up a 54th place finish in the boys race in Class 2A.
