Twin Valley League All-League Volleyball Honors Handed Out

Another high school volleyball season is in the books and it was another action packed season of action in the Twin Valley League that saw three teams make State and two finish State runner-up. 

The Centralia Panthers won the TVL regular season and tournament this year, while finishing as 1A-DI State runner-up with a 42-2 record on the season and 11-1 in the TVL. Cassidy Haufler, Mayda Stallbaumer and Katie Glatczak all earned All-TVL first team, while Drew Kramer and Chelsea Huerter picked up second team honors. 

Axtell Eagles finished second in the TVL in the regular season going 11-1 in League action and finished the season 32-11 as State runner-up in Class 1A-DII. Courtney Heinen and Kiersten Talbot each were named to first team All-TVL, while Megan Buessing, Bradie Schmitz and Taylor Feldkamp all earned second team All-TVL honors. 

Frankfort Wildcats grabbed third place in the League regular season standings finishing 9-3 in League play and 24-12 on the season. Emilee Ebert and Kyla Hardwick each picked up first team All-TVL honors, while Rebecca Adams got nod for the Wildcats for second team All-TVL. 

The Washington County Tigers finished 9-3 in the TVL and 25-11 on the season taking fourth in the regular season standings for the TVL, but earning third in the TVL tournament. Courtney Moore helped lead the Tigers this season and earned first team All-TVL, while Annie Otott and Cammie Miller each got second team All-TVL honors. 

Linn finished fifth in the TVL regular season standings finishing 8-4 in League play and 18-18 overall. Hanna Bott got the first team All-TVL nod for the Bulldogs. 

For the Hanover Wildcats they finished the TVL regular season sixth with an 8-4 record in League action and 30-10 overall record, but took second in the League tournament. Morganne Zabokrtsky and Katelyn Jueneman each picked up first team All-TVL honors for the Wildcats, while Riley Doebele and Ashton Jueneman both were named to the second team. 

Clifton-Clyde Eagles finished the season 16-18 and made the 1A-DI State tournament for the second straight year, while finishing 6-6 in the TVL. Elizabeth Nobert helped led the Eagles all season and earned first team All-TVL honors. 

Valley Heights Mustangs wrapped up the season with a 5-7 League record and 13-22 overall mark, but had Kayla Smith earn first team All-TVL honors and Jo Roepke get second team honors. 

While, Blue Valley was the only other team to have an All-TVL player as Tessa Henry was named to the second team as the Rams finished the season 16-19 and 3-9 in the TVL as the Rams finished ninth in the League. 

Troy, Doniphan West, Onaga and Wetmore finished out the TVL volleyball standings for the year finishing 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th.
