(KLZA)-- The Johnson-Brock Eagles knocked out top-seed Emerson-Hubbard in the Class D1 semi-finals of the Nebraska Class D1 State Volleyball Tournament Friday morning.
It was a hard fought five set match. The Eagles won the first set 25-21, lost sets two and three 25-23 and 28-26, came back to win the fourth set 27-15 to force a deciding fifth set and won 15-7.
The Eagles will play for the title at 11 a-m Saturday at the Bob Devaney Sports Cente against Pioneer Conference foe the Diller-Odell Griffins.
Diller-Odell knocked out #2 seed Bertrand 3 games to 1 in the semi-finals
