Lady Ravens Win-Advance to NAIA "Fab Four"
By Tom Kautz
Lady Ravens in "Fab Four"!

Campbellsville University's womens basketball team had played in the national title game last year and had their sights set on a repeat. The Benedictine Lady Ravens had another scenario in mind.  Led by Senior Jordan Kramer (5' 10", Winchester, KS) whose game high 16 points included an off-balance 20 footer as the shot clock expired in the final 2 minutes of the game. Benedictine went on to upset the Lady Tigers 45-36.

BC has been the underdog in each of its 3 national tournament wins including a victory over the overall #1 who was on a 30 game winning streak. Up next is a Fab Four matchup with conference opponent and long time rival Baker University. The two teams split their two previous meetings this season with the home team taking each.  Monday's winner will move on to Tuesday's NAIA National Championship game.

Coverage of the Lady Ravens in the national tournament will continue on KAIR 93.7 Monday with pre-game at 5:45 and tipoff from Independence, MO set for 6:00.
