As girls golf Regionals loom closer teams continue to work on their game with regular season competition and both Jeff West and Holton hit the links on Monday at the Silver Lake Invitational and put together strong performances. 

Jeff West put together the best team score on the day finishing with a 197 to take first place by 12-strokes finishing ahead of the host Silver Lake who took second place only one-stroke in front of Holton who placed third (210). Nine teams competed on the day. 

Leading the way for Jeff West on the day was rounds of 45 and 47 by Miranda Hein and Sydney Schneider who finished third and fourth place, respectively. 

Holton had a trio of gals finish in the Top 10 as Sarah Holaday took fifth with a 48, while Taylor Stevens and Faith Holaday with rounds of 51 each placed ninth and tenth, respectively. 

The regular season of golf action wraps up for both Jeff West and Holton on Thursday, October 6th for Jeff West at the Basehor-Linwood and then they turn their attention to Regionals on Tuesday, October 11th at Cypress Ridge golf course in Topeka.
