Area spikers continued their season on Saturday in tournament action as Riverside played host to tournament action. 

The Jefferson County North Chargers earned another tournament crown on the season, while Oskaloosa and Troy finsihed third and fourth as teams at the Riverside Tournament. 

The day got rolling with pool play and in the Blue pool it was the JCN Chargers cruising to a 3-0 performance in pool play with straight set wins over St. Joseph Christian, North Platte and Troy. The Troy Trojans took second in the pool going 2-1 beating North Platte in three sets, while topping St. Joseph Christian in straight sets. North Platte went 1-2, while St. Joseph Christian went 0-3. 

In the Black pool Mound City worked to a 3-0 record to win the pool beating Riverside, McLouth and Oskaloosa all in straight sets. The Bears of Oskaloosa snagged second in the pool to make it to bracket play by going 2-1 in pool play with a straight set win over Riverside and three victory of McLouth. McLouth finished pool play 1-2 with a straight set win over Riverside; the Cyclones went 0-3. 

The Semifinals saw the two pool winners claim their fourth win of the day as JCN beat Oskaloosa in three sets, 7-25, 25-22, 27-25, while Mound City beat Troy 16-25, 25-12, 25-12. 

In the Championship the Chargers capped an unbeaten day with a straight win over Mound City 25-13, 25-9. While in the third place match Oskaloosa topped Troy 25-22, 25-10.
