All-Twin Valley League Volleyball Honors Awarded

The high school volleyball season is in the books and it was another highly competitive year in the Twin Valley League with three teams claiming Top two finishes at State tournaments. With the season in the rear view mirror the All-League honors have been handed out. 

Centralia won the TVL regular season title for the 22nd time and TVL tournament title for 18th time had senior, Cassidy Haufler led the way earning first team All-League. The Panthers finished the year 44-1 and 12-0 in the TVL, winning their 13th State title in school history as they claimed the 1A-DI State crown. Seniors, Sadi Boyce and Breanna Hasenkamp along with sophomore, Madison Lueger each earned second team All-League. 

The Hanover Wildcats finished second in the League, second in the TVL tournament and second at State in 1A-DI this year going 38-8 overall and 11-1 in TVL play. Seniors, Ashton Jueneman and Katelyn Jueneman along with sophomore, Macy Doebele all got the nod for first team All-League, while senior, Riley Doebele earned second team honors. 

Washington County Tigers finished third in the TVL going 9-3 in League play and 26-13 overall this year and had senior, Cammie Miller earned first team All-League honors, while senior, Jenna Henneberg and junior, Tess Cecrle each were picked to second team All-League. 

Senior, Maggie Bott and junior, Shelby Ohlde picked up first team All-League honors for the Linn Bulldogs who finished fourth in the TVL going 9-3 in League play and 23-14 overall Senior, Kaitlin Ohlde also picked up second team honors for Linn. 

Valley Heights finished fifth in the League standings going 8-4 and 19-19 overall and have a pair of All-League player this year with junior, Kayla Smith earning first team and senior, Emily Steenson getting second team honors.

The Axtell Eagles finished sixth in the TVL but wrapped the season as 1A-DII State champs with a 27-15 record and went 7-5 in TVL play. Senior, Anna Buessing earned first team All-League, while senior, Maddy Kuckelman and sophomore, Trisha Mathewson earned second team honors. 

Frankfort Wildcats who finished the season seventh in the League at 6-6 in TVL play and 19-17 overall had a pair of gals earn first team All-League honors as junior, Rebecca Adams and sophomore, Emilee Ebert snagged the honors. 

Clifton-Clyde Eagles finished 11-20 on the year and 5-7 in League play and had junior, Emily Coffman earn second team All-League. 

Blue Valley finished 4-8 in the TVL and 21-16 overall on the season and senior, Megan Plummer earned second team All-League honors. 

Onaga Buffaloes posted a 4-8 mark in the TVL and 13-21 record on the season and senior, Shay Duer earned first team All-League honors. 

Troy, Wetmore and Doniphan West finished out the TVL standings in volleyball this season in that order.
