The Sabetha Bluejays scored touchdowns on their first nine offensive possessions in route to a Bi-District road victory Tuesday night in Atchison.  The Ravens took an early 6-0 lead on the opening drive and pulled within 21-14 mid second, but Sabetha grabbed four interceptions and ran for 421 yards on the night in posting the playoff win.

Sabetha seniors Blake Plattner and Trae Snyder continued their stellar seasons and each surpassed 1,200 yards rushing on the year Tuesday as Blake ran for 173 yards on 11 carries with 4 touchdowns and Trae had 3 TDs while accounting for 177 yards on 15 carries and both were Citizens State Bank and Trust Company of Hiawatha "Players to Bank On."  Christian Meyer was 3-3 in the passing game for 68 yards and all of them went to Eric Renyer, including a 44-yard TD strike.  Couple with his blocking and superior play on defense, Renyer earned the "Lineman of the Game" honors from the Denison State Banks.  Joseph Gruber had a pair of first half interceptions for the Bluejay defense while Zach Edelman registered another one with :42 seconds left until halftime and the Bluejays scored to take a 41-14 advantage into the locker room.  Sabetha increased the lead to 62-14 on a 37 yard TD run by Joel Hackney with 10:07 to play before the Ravens tacked on two late scores.

MH-MA scored on the opening drive as freshman Jack Caudle hit Ronald Faulk Tindal for a 30 yard score and then Faulk Tindal broke away for a 61 yard run with 7:12 remaining in the second quarter to pull the Ravens within 21-14.  Caudle tossed two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter, hitting Faulk Tindal on a nine yard strike and Cameron Taft on a 19 yard pass to complete the scoring.  Caudle was 18-35 passing for 195 yards, hitting six different receivers and finishing his freshman campaign with 1,532 yards and 19 touchdown passes.  Faulk Tindal ran for 155 yards on 15 carries and caught 4 passes for 60 yards while making 3 trips to the endzone.  He ran for 1,450 yards in his junior season with 17 rushing scores and added 6 TD receptions and 310 yards.  MH-MA finished their third straight playoff season with a 7-3 record and will lose only five seniors.

Sabetha (9-1) advances to Saturday, where they will host the two-time defending 3A State Champs from Rossville, as the Bulldogs beat Perry Lecompton 41.14.
