Troy never trailed Lyndon Friday night and the Trojans were again impressive winning 46-19 in the Class 2-1A playoffs.

Excitement was in the air as a packed stadium waited for the the Troy Trojans and Lyndon Tigers to meet in the post-season Friday night for the fourth consecuitive season.  The first quarter ended scoreless, but Troy had fashioned a 14-7  lead by halftime.  The game would never be closer as the Trojans put together 5 unanswered scores and pulled away early in the second half.  Cuttar Huss had 3 touchdown runs (47, 70, 6) to lead Troy in scoring, but the pivotal play of the evening was a 50 yard Pick-Six by Brody Winder for Troy's first score of the second half.  From that point, momentum was firmly on the side of THS.

Troy continues to be undefeated, now at 11-0 and will be hosting another playoff game next Friday as Pittsburg- St. Mary's Colgan (8-3) will come in. The Trojans have advanced to the Sub-State game of the 2-1A playoffs for the third straight year and look for a return trip to the State Championship game. Game time for the Sub-State showdown versus Pitt-Colgan is set for 7:00 pm with the winner advancing to the State Championship Game on Saturday, November 26th.
